Reports - Main Page
To get to the reports main page in SMS Pro, simply click the "Reports" button in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
The page that will open up is the reports main page.
In the white section on the right hand side of the screen you will see your "Preferred Reports". These are all of your favorite reports. Any report that you pull often can be saved to this section so that they're easy to find. All other reports can be found on the left hand side of the screen buried in the various menus.
An important point to remember about the reports section is that there is nothing you can break in the reports. The reports are read only so there's literally no way you can hurt anything when browsing the reports. We encourage you to explore the hundreds of different reports in the various menus on the left hand side. Pull every single report in the system and see what data is useful to you. Please note though, if you pull a report for something that you don't use, let's say Categories for example... when you try to pull a Category report the system will give you an error message that says "This report query did not return anything". This just means that you're probably not using that specific thing in your point of sale system. No harm done, maybe you just don't use Categories. So have no fear, explore the reports.
