1. Create a store coupon plu. ( this will contain the disc. amount)

A. Put in a descriptor and short descriptor. (ex. Sugar Promo)

B. Put in a subdepartment.

C. Check "un-check follow sub,check - elec coup and store coup ".

D. Put 1.00 into "retail price". (this amount gets deducted from the item)

e. Put 3 in the right of Limited qty.

f. put LT in METH (limited by transaction)

E. Apply changes.

F. Click "Item" at the top of the screen

G. Click "Coupon Link"

H. Click " + " in coupon link.

I. Double-click Type in coupon link , Click "Total Sales"

J. Double-click Amount in coupon link , put in 10.00 and "1" in "code"

K. Apply changes in coupon link.

L. Click the "hand" in the coupon link window

M. Type in the upc of the Sugar in the Filter. (top left window)

N. Press enter , enter. This brings up the Sugar.

p. Click " + " in coupon link.

(note if this promo has varieties then :

1.Make up a PID number and put it in the P.ID field of

each variety.(POS box)

2.Change type to Promo ID Sales (PID),in this coupon link.

q. Put "1" into the "qty" field

r. Click "Method" Click on "Multiply using Criteria" and "Match with this item"

and "exclude this from total" (XRM)

s. Click apply changes in the coupon link.

t. Deploy changes.
