How To Launch a Report

How To Launch a Report

To launch a report, click on the report's title button.

This will then open up a wizard for you to fill in, which will look something like this:

This wizard will allow you to select several different properties of the report before you launch it. Reports default to being daily reports, and automatically set today's date. If you'd like to change the report to a different day, or set it to a weekly report, simply set the date ranges you'd like to see in this wizard before launching it.

Different report will have different wizard choices depending on the report. In the picture above, it has an "Order By" section. This allows you to order the report by dollar amount, department number, alphabetically, etc. If you leave it to default, it will order it by department number.

There is a section called "Target" at the bottom of a lot of reports. By default it is set to RAL which means Report All. This will report all registers together. If you wanted to see a report of just register 1 however, you could set this box to 001 for register 1 and then you'd see the report just for register 1. (This is not how you balance a drawer however. You'll want to see an operator report for this)

Finally, when you're ready to see the report, click the Launch button in the upper right hand section of the report.
