To access the Shopper Assistant menu, complete the following steps.
Scan Shopper Assistant card.
The Shopper Assistant menu is displayed.
Note:
The Shopper Assistant menu options vary depending upon the state of the system and the Shopper Assistant permissions.
From the Shopper Assistant menu:
1.
Void or Suspend .
2.
Single Item .
3.
Either scan the item or touch the item from the menu (the item will be highlighted) and then touch
Void Item .
Note:
If the transaction has only one item in it, you must void the transaction, not the item.
From the Shopper Assistant menu:
1.
Void or Suspend .
2.
Transaction .
3.
to suspend the transaction.
4.
Follow the instructions on the touchscreen monitor.
From the Shopper Assistant menu:
1.
Price Entry .
2.
Enter .
3.
Touch the appropriate department button.
4.
Follow the instructions on the touchscreen monitor.
5.
Place the item in the bag.
6.
When the item is processed, the system exits Shopper Assistant mode and returns to the order.
With the Coupon prompt displayed, scan the Shopper Assistant card and then perform the following steps:
1.
Coupon .
2.
Store Coupon .
3.
Enter the price of the coupon.
4.
If prompted, enter the department of the coupon.
5.
Put the coupon in the coupon box.
6.
The system exits Shopper Assistant mode and returns to the order.

Scan the Shopper Assistant card. If the Age verification dialog box does not show automatically, press the
button.
2.
Enter the birth date of the shopper as prompted, or if available, select an age verification button (for example,
Shopper is over 21 ), if the shopper is of age. Upon verification, other age restricted items will scan without assistance if they have the same or lower age requirements.
From the Shopper Assistant menu:
1.
Security Summary .
2.
panel to resolve security errors.
The Shopper Assistant should check the order by:

• Reviewing the transaction history from the on-screen menu. Successfully processed items
are green. Items with security errors are red. Items that are inactive or that have been voided by a Shopper Assistant are gray. See the Legend for the Transaction History panel.
• Verifying that the items in the bagging area and cart match the items on the electronic receipt, giving special attention to items that display as security errors.
3.
When security issues have been resolved, the Shopper Assistant should touch
to reset the lane and process any remaining items or tender.
1.
Follow the instructions on the right side of the panel to resolve the pending action that is highlighted in yellow.
2.
Continue with the next pending action until all pending actions are resolved.
