Online Ordering Overview

Online Ordering Overview

The Loc SMS point of sale system is capable of integrating with all of the major 3rd party online ordering platforms. Loc SMS also has two options for native online ordering called Quickstore and Xstore.

The way the third party online ordering integrations typically work is that the online ordering platforms want the store's item file to be uploaded to them in a specific format on a daily basis. They use this file to build the online store. Some of these exports are based on item movement, some of them are based on flagging the items the store wants to be on the website. These uploads are usually done via FTP (File Transfer Protocol) and require username and password from the online ordering company.

GLDS has built integrations for the following platforms.

Loc SMS Quickstore

Loc SMS Xstore

Freshop

Instacart

Shophero

Mercato

Egrowcery

There is a fee that GLDS will charge for installing the online ordering integrations above. Please contact your sales rep to discuss this.
